About Willa

our idea is an app which consumers can scan products/barcodes during shopping in the supermarket and it can also be a useful add-on in your browser for online shopping. What is does is providing the customer with clear, detailed, professionally designed and reliable data about the value chain of the product and evaluates the sustainability of it through scanning for certifications, labelling or even "fake" labelling. With the simple idea of an app and online add -on I want to increase the traceability and transparency of everyday products for a broad range of customers around the world (probably mainly focusing on the western region first). we also want the app to be fully updated and include as many products as possible, this is a massive task we know and therefore we want to put as many men and woman power into it as I can. The systems for such an app already exist so it does not have to be entirely started from scratch.

Robin: co-founder, with a mind-set of changing the consumer behaviour to a more aware consumption pattern 

Sabine: co-founder. Every choice in the supermarket can make a big impact for people and planet and that is where WILLA can contribute.

Annemarie: secretary, making notes and providing planning, to get all the information well organized.

Machteld: communication, WILLA will combine sustainability and food consumption. The external and internal contact is her focus and keep track on all the assignments.
