About BKB

The name of our company is: BuurtKlusBedrijf. The goal of the company is to allow all residents with a passion for solving handyman tasks to come work. It provides them the opportunity to discover their talents, learn and gain work experience. 

Through the BuurtKlusBedrijf, unemployed residents can get back to work. They are trained throughout workshops and practical experience within the field. Because of this learning program the unemployed residents, are prepared to participate again in the labour market. 

In addition, the BuurtKlusBedrijf ensures more contact in the neighbourhood. The employees who live in the neighbourhood will see a lot of other residents when they finish a task. In this way the BuurtKlusBedrijf contributes in bringing more social cohesion into the neighbourhood.

By setting up the BuurtKlusBedrijf a multiple value in the district can be created. The unemployment will be reduced, residents will gain work experience and the social cohesion in the neighbourhood will improve.

  • advising on projects
  • small insulating jobs
  • cleaning work
  • training/courses
  • help with moving out
