Abput Lucăcești Campsite

We, team 3, did an in-depth analysis of the neighbourhood Lucăcești in Moinești, Romania. The research presented was commissioned by the Townhall of Moinești and is carried out by Research Team 3 of Van Hall Larenstein. Currently, the town hall lacks knowledge on current initiatives and innovations that could benefit the development of Lucăcești. To come to an innovation, we did desk and field research on Lucăcești and Moinești. We worked together with a Romanian student who conducted interviews with several inhabitants of Lucăcești and organizations who had a possible stake in our innovation. Our research results exists of a report, a pitch and a video. If you have any questions or good ideas that could add to our innovative idea, join our Teams meeting here.

Project description

Our innovation presents itself in the form of an interactive campsite. The campsite will be located in a forest rich area in Lucăcești and offer luxurious tents for rent as well as spaces to rent to set up a tent or place a caravan.  Working together with locals to organize activities on and off the campsite will make the campsite and the city of Moinești an appealing tourist attraction.

Meet the team

We are research team 3 of Van Hall Larenstein. Our team consists of Bente van der Meulen, Jolien Hoet, Gabriëlle van Eldik, Willem Chernikov en Martijn Michels. We worked together with a hardworking, enthusiastic student from University of Bacau, called Gabriel Calugaru. He was our eyes and ears when he walked multiple times through the neighbourhood of Lucăcești.  He conducted interviews with inhabitants of Lucăcești and made pictures of the area, which helped us a lot in our research and eventually coming up with an innovation that meets the needs of the inhabitants. He helped us a lot and we are very grateful for that.
